Cailyn is a highly accomplished structural engineer with a record of excellence in construction, project management, and technical leadership. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
Her career began with the California Department of Transportation’s Division of Engineering Services in Structural Construction, where she was recruited as a Field Engineer. Cailyn quickly distinguished herself through strong leadership, technical judgment, and the ability to represent project interests across complex assignments throughout San Diego County.
Among her most significant achievements is the management and execution of approximately $300 million in Construction Manager/General Contractor projects. This experience reflects her ability to coordinate technically demanding work while protecting schedule, budget, quality, and safety priorities.
Cailyn also serves as President of Simplified Builders Inc., overseeing residential and commercial work from planning through completion.
